Easy & Healthy Apple Crisp
Apple crisp has always been my favorite fall dessert. In fact, it's the very first thing I make after a day of apple picking.
Every year, my family makes a trip to our favorite orchard, Bolton Spring Farm. With endless varieties of apples, beautiful views, a pumpkin patch, and a charming farm store, it's the perfect way to welcome the season. Afterward, we usually head over to Nashoba Valley Winery, which is only a few minutes away, making it the perfect fall day for the entire family.
As soon as we get home, making apple crisp becomes my first priority. There's something so comforting about warm baked apples, cinnamon, and a crunchy topping fresh out of the oven.
What I love most about this recipe is that it's a dessert your mind and body can feel good about. It's naturally gluten-free, contains no added sugar, and can easily be made dairy-free by swapping the butter for coconut oil. Whether you're enjoying it after dinner or bringing it to a family gathering, it's a cozy treat that satisfies without leaving you feeling sluggish.
Top it with your favorite vanilla ice cream, grab a blanket, and enjoy every bite of apple season.
Warm cinnamon apples and a buttery oat crumble come together in this wholesome apple crisp that's naturally gluten-free and full of cozy fall flavors.
