Ingredients

  • 1–2 cups dark leafy greens (spinach, kale, or spring greens)

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (plant or whey) I like Truvani Protein.

  • 1 frozen or ripe banana

  • 1 tsp spirulina (optional for deep green color, antioxidants and protein)

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds and/or flaxseeds

  • 1–2 tsp cacao nibs

  • 3–5 fresh mint or peppermint leaves

  • 1 cup milk of choice (organic milk, unsweetened almond or coconut milk)

  • Optional: a few ice cubes for a thicker smoothie



Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust: add more milk if too thick, or a few extra mint leaves for brightness.

  4. Pour into a glass, sprinkle extra cacao nibs on top for crunch, and enjoy!
